Investigation into model ice growth

In this research area of heterogenous ice growth I am interested in the following questions (for more information see my publications):

1) What relevant transient structures and processes help facilitate the formation of a layer?

2) Are such structural signatures similar to other ordering process and can a corollary be found to protein-folding?

3) Modelling 3D ice growth via novel simulation methodologies.

4) Characterizing and investigating models of heterogenous ice growth.
